CRM architecture first, then four revenue engines, then AI on clean data. Dean has completed over 200 HubSpot builds.
HubSpot builds are delivered by Dean and his team at Sales Momentum, where he is co-founder and CTO.
This is the system I build inside HubSpot. Each layer depends on the one beneath it. That's why companies that buy AI tools and point them at messy data rarely get what they paid for.
Underneath every engine is the schema: what each object is, how records relate, what every field means, and which system owns it. It's my core expertise, and it's the step most companies skip.
Each engine owns one stretch of the customer's path, from first inquiry to cash in the bank, and hands a clean record to the next.
Every inbound lead is owned, routed and called within minutes, with a record of every attempt.
Booked meetings that actually happen, on calendars that stay full and organized.
A pipeline with real exit criteria, follow-up that never lapses, and a way to bring stalled and lost deals back.
Every dollar tied to the deal and the customer that produced it, from first payment through refunds.
When the data is clean and defined in a schema, the company is AI-ready. AI is only as good as the records it reads, so this layer comes last and works from day one.
Purpose-built agents that qualify, follow up, reconcile and report inside your systems, with a human approving what matters.
OpenAI and Anthropic tools rolled out with real workflows, training and guardrails, so adoption lasts past the first month.
HubSpot's built-in AI configured on clean data, so the assistants and agents you already pay for give answers you can trust.
Clean architecture, working engines and AI on top add up to a company that runs on systems instead of on you. That's what makes an exit possible, whichever exit you want.
See Built to ExitStep back from operations and lead from where you add the most. The business keeps its standards without you in every room.
Hand a buyer verifiable data and a company that runs without its founder, the two things that raise enterprise value.
…and many more. If your team runs on it, I've probably connected it to a CRM.

Built to Exit, run by Dean DeVries, builds HubSpot revenue operations systems done-for-you. The builds are delivered by Dean and his team at Sales Momentum, where he is co-founder and CTO. The work follows a fixed order: CRM architecture first, then the revenue engines, then AI. Dean has completed over 200 HubSpot builds. Engagements start with a conversation and a fixed-fee diagnostic.
Three layers, in order. 1) CRM architecture: the object and association model, a property dictionary, lifecycle and pipeline definitions, one system of record per data type, billing, books, calendar and phone integrations, and a portal audit and cleanup. 2) Four revenue engines: a Setter Engine for speed to lead, an Appointment Engine for show rate and calendar use, a Closer Engine for pipeline stages, follow-up and lost-deal recovery, and a Revenue Engine that ties payments, refunds, clawbacks and commission data to deals and reconciles the CRM to the books. 3) AI, once the data is clean: custom agents with human approval, team enablement on ChatGPT and Claude, and HubSpot Breeze configured on clean data. Each build is scoped, so not every engagement includes every item.
In three steps. First, a private 60-minute conversation about the business, the team and the founder. Second, a fixed-fee diagnostic of up to 7 to 14 days, depending on complexity, in which Dean goes inside the CRM, the numbers and the leadership rhythm and delivers a written finding: where revenue is leaking, what to build, and what it's worth. Third, the engagement, with agreed outcomes and measures and a monthly report against them. Engagements are by application.
Dean DeVries doesn't publish fixed prices. Investment is set by scope after the diagnostic, which is a fixed fee, and every proposal states exactly what is included and what it's worth to the business.
